Every transaction updates and enters itself into my accounts with one easy click and a password. I haven't manually entered a credit card transaction in weeks! Thank goodness for Amazon! It was super cheap and fast shipping!

It has an easy to use interface. It can still run on a computer without internet connection.
I recommend this product if you’re a small business owner and are looking for a simplified version of QuickBooks. Get the download at Amazon for an unbeatable price. My only hope is that the Mint.com people fix the abomination Quicken has become. I have been a Quicken user since 1994 and have generally loved the product. I owned Q2008, Q2005 & Q2002 and I used them daily. During that decade, I observed no significant product improvements, just a huge increase in software bugs. From a user interface prospective, this is a big step backward. On the positive side, this version of Quicken is the fastest yet.
Before considering buying this product I checked Quickens support options. Incredibly, this version doesn’t even show up on their support page! I am still using Microsoft Money because I just can’t justify switching to Quicken until they can sync with Bank of America and ING without any issues. These are the two main banks I use and it’s ridiculous that they can’t make this work – it’s not like they are obscure banks. But if you have 3+ years of financial records in excel you wanted to import into Quicken you will have to find tools to convert CSV or excel data into QIF format. To do so, you need to Google for some random 3rd party tool that you think you might be able to trust.
I cannot connect to my bank accounts. The other day when I tried to use the software, I have very simple question and it takes forever for their customer support to respond. Please try to somehow make SURE that it works with your financial institution before buying it – do NOT trust their website with a list supported banks. Their support will go thru their checklists and then say “sorry!” Also for any loans I had when I made a payment it put the entire payment amount towards the principle and didn’t break it down between principle/interest/insurance/etc. I deleted and recreated the Quicken account and re-imported multiple times and eventually gave up as I could never fix all the errors.
If you have been tracking it in another program (TurboTax, Microsoft Money, Gnu Money, QuickBooks, etc) then Quicken might be able to import it easily. But if you have one of those why would have bought Quicken” So, for example, MORE banks are supported for direct connect. MORE transactions can be automatically categorized since auto-categorization already existed.
Although I don’t like having to spend $50 or more on an upgrade this often, I am willing since software houses have a legitimate need to not support every version since the beginning of time. SMALL RECLINER.
